When did your interest in fashion start?
When you have a fashionable mother, you are influenced by fashion naturally. I was confident about fashion early on , probably from three years-old.

What inspired you to become part of the fashion industry?
I wasn't inspired to become anything within the realm of fashion, I wanted to be a Palaeontologist in the early years. I love Dinosaurs and still want to buy a 30 foot Stegosaurus skeleton.

How did you become a model?
I was discovered...a few times...the very first being on my first day going to Auckland University. On Queen St.

What is the best thing about working in the fashion industry?
Working with enormously creative, fun, dynamic people who are otherwise dysfunctional in a normal setting.

If you could raid anyone's wardrobe - whose would it be and why?
I wouldn't raid anyone's wardrobe. I'm inspired by stylish people BUT I never covetsomeone's else's style. Be your own muse.

Who is your favourite international designer?
Oh so many to choose from. I'm partial to European style, and know a few fabulous designers from India.

Who is your favourite NZ designer?
That's opening a can of worms. I do like Zambesi, MisteR, Wayward Heir, Nik Von K....in actual fact there are too many to name.

What does every man need in his wardrobe?
Everyman needs to get into the closet and have a good poke around...and know themselves and what's needed.
In my travels I've learnt Wellington men are very much closet orientated, and have a wonderful sense of fashion.

What fashion item can't you live without?
A wonderful cologne. Currently I'm all over Jo Malone Oud and Bergamont Cologne Intense...cause I'm intense.
