CHRIS

Chris is the technician of the Stafford Brothers. The DJ duo writes everything together, however when it comes to the technical side of music making, Chris is in charge. Being a writer and producer, Chris knows what he likes and like many creators doesn’t like to be told when his work doesn’t work. He’s constantly battling out creative with their management and record labels. One thing that gets him nervous about an overseas trip is working with management, or ‘suits’ as they’re known. Chris feels comfortable playing his tracks to thousands of fans, but in the board room with a couple of ‘suits’ he feels out of place. Chris also works very closely with other DJs, many of whom are requesting on a daily basis to produce with him.

Unlike his brother, Chris is a single man, and very happy for things to stay that way. Like most brothers, he's completely supportive of Matt and Brooke’s relationship even though he’ll cheekily tell a crowd that they’re both single boys to build their on-stage appeal.

When it comes to lighting up the stage, he's never one to hold back and let his brother out-shine him. While Matt is first to open his mouth, Chris has the subtle ability to make sure he always gets his way. And when it comes to family, Chris has learned he will never quite be the golden-child that Matt has become.
